THE ACOUSTIX PROJECT is a musical duo with Gigi Gostas and Bill Hudson.  Just 2 guitars and 2 voices, the native Texans play a variety of genres ranging from blues to country, featuring originals songs from Gigi to covers and even Beatles instrumentals.

Hudson has played semi professionally for over 16 years. Active in worship music, he gives back to his community most Sunday mornings.  He has performed and collaborated with Gostas for the past 10 years. He utilized his guitar skills in the quarter finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis,TN as part of the solo/duo category in 2020 & 2024.

Gostas is a multi-faceted singer/songwriter & musician with a style that combines blues, funk and country. Known for her acoustic rhythm guitar and percussive style, she gets her groove on. She has released a Nashville produced self-titled EP "Gigi Gostas - EP" that is available on Apple Music and Spotify.  Her voice has been compared to a cross between Bonnie Raitt and Melissa Etheredge.

THE ACOUSTIX PROJECT has played in the DFW area including Love & War in Texas, House of Blues, Opening Bell Coffee, Lone Star Wine Cellar, The Deep Ellum Arts Festival and Wildflower Festival.
